yeah headband. The one you put around your forhead that's got a kinda 'hippy' vibe.

i bought this thing at a thrift store today. the label inside says 'made in italy for barneys'. i think it was a bathrobe, but i liked the fabric and wanted to make it into an 80s-looking jacket.

I'm actually putting a tutorial together this weekend. I'm going to post it on my blog, so check within a couple of days.

this is my little sailordress ^_^
I made it from two awful pices of clothings.... one long darkblue dress and a white long skirt.

I want to ad a bow like in my sketch, but after making the skirt I didn't have any material left, but it looked good with the pearls.

I was about to ask that! haha very cute outfit. It looks good indeed with the pearls, they give the dress a more chanel-esque style if that even exists. but maybe if you make a bow like a brooch you can also have a more feminine dress. ^_^

The tutorial for the margiela t-shirt is now up on my blog! Check it out!

^Great work with the t.. And I get the 'gist' of the tutorial. thanks ^_^

just made this skirt from a long scarf. very easy.
Excellent for layering since it's transparent..

not sure if this is the right thread to post this

inspired by the Givenchy fw collection's massive cluster of chains with charms on them, i decided to make a gothic pimp chain necklace for myself...but less clustered and...heavy. of course, if i can, i would make it just as clustered but i would need to make an iron neck myself as well! the Givenchy necklace does look incredibly heavy but i wonder if it really is so...

Givenchy fw
it all started with these pictures, hehe

and here is the result!

it doesnt look as WOW as the real givenchy necklace but it's awsome enough for me and it's already rather heavy

initially it didnt take too long to make the necklace, but i did have some tool trouble in the begining. the adding on charms and post-fixing the chain part took me at least one full hour. having to put on charms and take them off and putting them on again sure wasnt fun for my fingers and nails. but the result is worth it!

MUXU, that definitely has the WOW factor. WOW! I like your necklace even better..it's more wearable. I hope you rock it. Thanks for sharing :)

MUXU, you're genius  Just looking back and forth at your creation and the Givenchy ones, I reckon I like yours much more now; its more simple and not as chunky but its still fabulous. :)

thanks guys :)

educo - do make one! and if i see you around csm wearing it i will know for sure it's you! haha

yea it is more wearable but i quite like the OTTness of the givenchy one, but i dont wanna break my neck at the same time hehe

it turned out really good MUXU! i love the look, i think it will be a huge trend this season, its so cool!

really nice job educo and muxu...:woot:
