cv help

Ok so this isnt fashion related but i am applying to lots of shops for part time work. Ive written the cv but im stuck when it comes to the cover letter so any ideas would be greatly apriciated and any websites with tips etc. would be super.

I generally just send:

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to you to apply for [----]



I am [----] years old and have just completed my [----] year of education at [----].



I would like to work for [----] to gain retail experience and also because [----]. I believe myself to be suitable for the position because I am [----]. I have [evidence of aforementioned qualities]. I am also able to relate to people and get on equally as well with staff and students at my school. I think that I am [----]. I am able to work [days you can work]
