Daily Exercise

For elliptical, what resistance and incline do you typically do? Is there an optimal level for the best workout? I sometimes see people going so fast on the elliptical but with zero resistance and incline. Hmm...wonder how effective of the workout that would be.
 
3 miles on the bike
1.5 miles on the elliptical
1.5 miles walking
lifting
crunches
lots of stretching
 
30 minutes on the treadmill (alternated between 3.3 speed with no incline & 3.5 speed with no incline)
15 minutes on the elliptical
15 minutes on the bike (3.30 miles)
stretching

Did nothing yesterday, so hit out with a big one today.

5mins warm up on bike, and stretching - 28 Cals
60mins on elliptical, level 11, 150spm - 788 Cals
60mins on bike, level 1, 90-110rpm - 374 Cals

Total = 1,190 Cals.

Went up a level on the elliptical, so reduced my stride rate down to 150 from the 180+ I was using on level 10. Felt great!
 
Today I did spring-cleaning for two hours... it was such a workout! No wonder Cinderella's so thin. hehe.
 
wow you must have great muscle and breathing because after 10 mins on the elliptical my legs were shaking!

Monday, Wednesday, Friday:
30 min elliptical
weight/resistance training
stretching

Tuesday, Thursday:
60 min Pilates mat class

Saturday:
60 min Pilates personal training
 
This morning I took Harvey on a 3km walk, though needed my walking stick as my poor leg was tired from yesterday's big session. Then went swimming, found my arms were tired too, and only did 1.5km!

I'd planned yesterday to do my upperbody weights this afternoon, but seeing as my arms felt fatigued from that elliptical too I just sat on the exercise bike for 90mins, and read US Elle from cover to cover. 557 cruisey Cals.
 
1 hour pilates class - really tough tonight. I find my yoga is really helping me with it though, its great that they're complementary :)
 
45 mintues run outdoors for 5K
80 situps
60 pushups
40 mintues free weights for arms & upper body
10 minutes self weights for legs
 
I felt incredibly lazy yesterday but I made myself go to the gym today:

30 minutes on the treadmill (alternated between 3.3 speed with no incline & 3.5 speed with no incline)
15 minutes on the elliptical
15 minutes on the bike (3.40 miles)
stretching
& I walked halfway home from the gym

I would have walked all the way home, but I saw a bus heading my way as I was crossing the street
 
yesterday:
45 min spinning class
relaxed walking for 20 min

today:
60 min bodystep class
60 min bodypump class
