Daily Exercise

Congratulations elegantly_wasted!!

How long have you been using the NYC Ballet parisia? can you see any effects on your body?

2 Feb - ran for about 15 mins
3 Feb - chest & bicep workout and a little bit of abs

Yesterday: 1 hour elliptical, 20 min treadmill, little lower body excersice, stretching

today: 45 min elliptical, 1 hour pilates on the Allegro

today: only 1 hour elliptical and some stretching.

To those who work out often: do you also sometimes feel like if you do not rest enough (in my case only one day the week), your body looks LESS toned than if you would rest a little bit more?
I know that it also depends on how fit you are and how you change your workout routine from day to day.
i do "use" my legs in everyworkout, even when i do cardio only.
I don't know, maybe it's just me...

Not sure about "Looks" , as this can sometimes be deceptive.
The body changes throughout the day anyhow. Lighting can be a factor, aswell as temperature. So this is one of the reasons i keep a diary. I personally don't use "Looks" as a gauge. Well, only a small fraction.
The physiological effects of exercising, negative and positive, are a different matter maybe.
Rest periods can also be enhanced, or inhibited by a varying amount of factors.
And as we all most probably reconise, rest is an essential ingrediant.
Aswell as varying routine , fairly regually, i do vary rest periods. Listening to the body is pretty important i think.

at school today I did the mile
I got 8:40 but I'm going to keep doing it for a better time
I also did the elliptical for 17 mins
Not much meh

Thank you :flower:. I try the "listenng to my body" thing, but sometimes the plan in my head is stricter than my body (if this makes sense)

Today: felt really not in the mood to work out, but did 40 min treadmill and free weights for the arms

Ugh, I neeeeed to quit smoking. I almost died exercising today, haha. I usually only ride the stationary bike, and do some sit ups, but today I started the 30 day shread and pretty much collapsed in the middle of it. Lol.

^start slowly then, don't exaggerate, don't do what you can't;)

tuesday: went for a run,about 20 mins
wednesday: an hour at the gym, working mainly on my butt and abs

No worries.:flower:
