callanetics NOT calisthenics..ah ha!

Callanetics seem more interesting! Do you take classes somewhere, Lilly? I looked up the classes and the prices. DO you think the workout is worth it?

Ahh! I've never heard of callanetics! You learn something new every day! :flower:

Can anyone recommend a good heart rate monitor? Nothing fancy... just want more accuracy than the treadmill and elliptical monitors provide. I'd like one that looks like a watch rather than one that goes around the chest. Thanks!!

Today TG Pump class 60 minutes + Stretching 55 minutes

But that's not my "daily work-out" - I change it everyday and sometimes I take well-deserved rest.

Today I did...

... 1 1/2h Yoga class
... 1 1/2h Contemporary dance class

... and my daily routine without pilates exercises... I was a bit lazy today...:innocent:....

I just moved to a new neighbourhood with a beautiful, HUGE park. So yesterday I went for a long jong/walk... I had to stop once in a while to look at the swans and ducks. :D

daily routine (total for morning and night):
60 dive bomber push-ups
150 total combination of crunches/reverse crunches/leg raises
240 flutter kicks
240 morning glories
30 starjumps and burpees
60 half-squats

plus whatever i do at the gym monday-sat, cardio days, weight days and recovery(reduced intensity, duration) days, with the occasional recreational sport on sundays(which doesnt happen too often).

Today I took the day off from running but I'm going to do all the
other exercises (I allow myself one day off from running a week,
day of my choice!)^_^

Does the workout work well for you? I'm looking for a yoga/pilates program other than windsor pilates that works! Thanks! :D

It's a new DVD so I've only used it once so far. I'm not sure if you're a beginner or not, but this yoga is more advanced yoga. I can only do 1/2 of the workout myself...but it's so lovely to watch that I don't mind. ^_^

Last night- Went to an hour Synergy Class (mix of pilates/yoga) and then ran 2 miles on the treadmill. There is a giant hill right by my building so when I got home from the gym I went and ran down and up that for an extra little somthin'

Reading this thread is making me feel soooo lazy.
