On Saturday at an intimate ceremony in Tribeca the winner and runners-up for the Ford Models Supermodel of the World 2010 competition were chosen. We are proud to announce that the winner is Danica Magpantay (Philippines) and the runners-up are Zuzanna Bronczyk (Poland) and Kristina Gromovaite (Lithuania). The winner and two runners-up will be staying in New York through Fashion Week F/W 11 where we anticipate they will be extremely busy. Please join us in congratulating all three on a fine finish to what is an extraordinary competition.

I think so Having no showcard doesn't mean models can't walk on fashion shows

thats right..and having a showcard deosnt guarantee appearances in fashion weeks...just look at charlene last year..she was included in the showcards for milan and paris, as represnted by elite and she wasnt used..i feel danica will go places...im crossing my fingers!!!!

she might not just have made it into the shoot for the showpackage but her portfolio is already up in Ford's
board nonetheless.. i'm also having abit of an issue with her face, it just seems a bit too harsh on some angles
and might not qualify as being photogenic enough but hopefully the severity of her face will brand her as an
'edgy' kind of model in HF. she reminds me of Ming Xi in some way.

hopefully she does good this season, and better than her last few counterparts.
