Ya know, I saw the full frontal pics...and it wasn't bad at all.

I felt like a perv look at Harry Potter's wand, but it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I was expecting something like a big pinky (Terrance Howard). He also has a nice lil six pack (among the visible ribcage).

But the theme of the play is beastiality-right? That...I dunno about.

I read through all the comments and somehow, I get a feeling of unfairness towards him. On the one hand, there's talk of how nudity doesn't mean maturity and yet, there are so many along the lines of "But he's Harry Potter!".

I agree that doing nude scenes for the sole sake of moving away from the HP character isn't wise but this guy is trying something new. So I'll reserve my judgment. I feel it could be an issue of challenging the self and that I appreciate, over those who stick to roles they are comfortable with, roles that have won them accolades.

Just for the record, I don't find him sexy in the pictures either.

What I'm also wondering is this - if he was never Harry Potter and he's doing this exact same thing, would there still be as much criticism against him?

I think he's an actor whose taking a risk in order to exapnd his acting abilities. The reviews are good and it's about damn time that he is given the opportunity to act like this because Harry Potter greatly limits him.

The full frontal is a fake. No such pic was ever made. But for the record, I've seen the photoshop montage you're talking about too and let say Daniel has nothing to complain about. They choose a very nice body double...

I agree with your post Bluestar. The "But he's Harry Potter!" thing is dumb as hell. It remains me of those ladies at the hairdresser who talk about sitcom characters like there were their best friends or neighbors or something.
