yeah, but that wouldn't be daria. it's rather evident that, especially in the last couple of years - since she met cass bird? -, she has gone through a *route* of self-acceptance. she clearly doesn't want anymore to hide her true self, including the definitive refusal to fit the role of the supermodel. so, we just have to praise that and, in our turn, to accept that, including some looks we may not like at first...

According to Leigh Lezark, Daria only stopped by the event. Some of the guests saw her in the vicinity on their way to the gallery and invited her to pop in. She didn't stay too long. It was a fairly casual event anyway.

She really loves that green cargo jacket.

you are completely right on all of this - i agree, i think since she met cass, we are seeing the "real" daria. and it is very cool, to say the least, that she doesn't play the role of the supermodel.
but it will make the events where she actually does dress up and "play the part" all the better, if you know what i mean. maybe just because of the fact that it is so rare and will be out of the norm.

^ same here! she's supposed to be in toronto for a lancome event at luminato on june 13 so thats something to look forward to ... but i'd love to see more editorials and covers. she's only had three editorials and two covers this year!

i'm still hoping alt will play nice and give her a cover for vp this year. maybe 2013 is when daria will really start scaling back in work?
