I just Googled Romy Schneider because I had no idea who she was...

how sad it's the life of these new generations who lost the memory of the icons of the 2oth century...

i must admit these pics bear more resemblance... but when i saw her acting and moving, she has a very different body language from daria.

I totally agree about Romy and Daria. As I said previously, if a movie was done about Romy's life, Daria would be perfect to play her.

^ yeah, but remember that daria is a 5'11 tomboy while romy was... i don't know to measure it... less than 1,60m! a delicate and very feminine short woman.

p.s.: you'll kill me for saying that, but i think that lindsay lohan - who's a very good actress imo - would be much more perfect than daria, who embodies a totally different kind of woman.
daria would be good to play katherine hepburn!

You're right about the fact that Daria is very too tall to play Romy, but, as an actress, you are supposed to be capable of playing any kind of woman different from you own personality. Daria could be very feminine and delicate on pictures, but in movie, well I don't know if she could act somebody as intense as Romy was.

Lindsay Lohan, in fact, is a good choice too. She's better as an actress than a singer (by far).
