totally! you know i think her runway's absences favours editorials, because fashion people miss her too, so she's sort of 'the girl we want to have'

I just think it's astonishing the amount of work she still does because, in model terms, hasn't she been around for quite some time? I'm not sure but it seems like she's more of a veteran compared to a lot of the girls walking the runway this past season. And I LOVE LOVE LOVE that about Miss Werbowy.

She has been at the top since 2003, but she began her career in 1999... so she's definitely a veteran (at a young age).

I am wondering how much Daria can decide herself what she wants to do and who she wants to work with. Do models have a management? Or is the agency that somebody that takes the role of a manager?

A few weeks ago Model's.com published a top-earning models rankings and reported that "Apparently there was another client bidding for [Daria's] exclusive services back when Lancome was intent on having her." And some of us wondered who the the other client was. Here's what The Imagist posted in his blog today, "There's been a longstanding rumor for a while that Daria W got thisclose to clinching a deal with VS before Lancome came in to lock her up with beaucoup bucks." Yay for Daria dodging a tacky lingerie-shaped bullet.
