yeah, an amazing figure... but what about the message?

nothing personal flower: ), but that's what worries me the most about fashions ads. that one looks at the models' beauty and doesn't consider the quality of the message.
personally, mademoiselle flower: ), i think that these ads are intentionally half or more than half trash, but this time i can't see the quality of the other daria and daria+du juan ads.

well to me cavalli always is a bit the same except for the ones with kate at the threes and stuff

but I think this ads try to represent excess, sex, luxury, etc wich I don't think daria represents

^ that's interesting, i'll reflect on it, also because i have a lot to say about this latest ad.
what i most like in those ads though is just the fact that daria is playing a total fictional role and she plays it well. it's a bit like the gucci ads. she was great there, just playing something totally different from her.
she can do stuff like that, she can't plat the pin-up instead.

well i'm not sure if you guys have noticed, but that ad was for cavalli underwear. that's why she's dressed so provocativly. there's no message behind her amount of clothing, it's just an underwear ad.

i think she looks fabulous. love the ad.

I don't think the Cavalli underwear ad is trashy at all. I think it's very provocative, yes, but it's all just fantasy. Obviously no one would ever really walk down the street in an expensive coat and underwear. If there's a message, its just about being sexy, which of course any woman whose willing to buy brand name underwear is concerned about being sexy! I rather like the ad, not as much as the others, but it's nice.

I think that's actually my favorite Versace shot so far. It doesn't look quite as cheap when they're wearing the dark blue instead of the gold/champagne color, it looks a little more dark and fall-like. I also sort of like how they're grouped into blondes and brunettes.
