a bit too little in my opinion.
an icon is someone who has a real position and influence in popular culture and that isn't daria's case.

I love the fact that you are very realistic, it's normal that we always tend to overate people whom we find interesting to our eyes, but you don't do it. that's great Eword!

such a fan there's a big list of models whose movies were big flops. modeling has nothing to do with acting, IMO.

It's so air-brushed and the colours look too saturated.

It doesn't even look like Daria.

i don't know if it's a matter of being realistic. i think it has to do with what objectively an icon is. and daria isn't objectively in icon. i have the suspicion that calling her an icon doesn't even do justice to her modeling.

about her acting, actually she said nothing explicit.
i agree that modeling and acting are two completely different things and that most of super/topmodels who tried acting were a ridicolous failure. what gives me some (realistic) hopes about daria is that not only she was rather good in "thunder perfect mind", both filming and reading, but also in that rather pointless thing for yurman. if you compare her to the other model, amber valletta, you see that valletta acts like a typical model and is totally unexpressive while daria has more nuances in her expressions. more drama. that said, of course we really don't know how she could be.

Uhm...well, as I've seen before Daria isn't bad (Prada mostly) and she's really smart, she got many good actors as friends, nope?

I loved the lancome ad haha I happen to have a penchant for those type of ads. Thanks Philipine!! Also I think models turned actress aren't great , not many people in the public would get the high fashion models looks .

Fist they asked her who is she (they know it...but.)
They asked her if modeling is hard, she answered yes.
They also asked how many shows she did, she said that she can't count there are too many.
