i don't agree but i can understand that you may like the idea to see daria in that grotesque tacky show, but if you say that daria is a huge star in waiting, well... er, not, it's not only a matter of disagreement from personal opinions. it's that if you want her to be a gisele or go mainstream, you seem not to appreciate daria's constant effort to have a low profile, to stay away from spotlight. (for instance, did you count how many events she went to this year apart those she had to? counting is easy: zero! or did you realise how private she is about her personal life?)
ultimately imo you don't seem to know her career so much. daria had her chance to become a real star in 2004, everything looked ready for her, she was the it-girl and stuff. she didn't make it and personally i'm very happy abuot it.

you are entirely correct. i admit, i am not all that familiar with her career ... or rather, i'm familiar with her incredible work, but only through the images, i haven't really followed her as much as some other models.

it is true, evidently she herself doesn't want to become a famous SUPERMODEL ... otherwise, surely she could be one. i suppose it isn't for everyone, but i just dislike a wasted opportunity like that. there are very very few girls to have emerged over the past 5 or 6 years with the same potential to be HUGE as Daria has/had. she could've been as successful as Gisele, i believe that, and in turn it could have brought more attention to other models. i suppose i would have preferred all of Daria's successes to fall upon someone who wanted to take the next step into becoming a household name. if only for my own selfish reasons.

loooooove Daria though. her work has always been absolutely amazing. she is certainly a star within the fashion world.

Daria already had her STAR moments, she is already a star and not one in the waiting! What can she wait for? She had all the top jobs she could ever imagine and if she is not doing VS, this does not mean she is not a big model.
Models also have their own opinion and she said in many interviews that she just wants to go on her boat and travel around the world for a few years! She did so much, she made enough money, so now she can anything she likes and I guess modeling is just not among her priorities. if a person wants to do many different things, they can not concentrate on one.
Sure i would love to see her in shows and editorials and covers all the time,but on the other hand I am releaved, cause i will have enough time to collect the stuff I do not have yet)lol
3 major campaigns are not such a bad thing, so she is still doing pretty well!
