Daria Werbowy

I know she's holding the "most runway shows in a season" runway.

Does anyone which season it was and how many shows she walked?

I think it was a record for opening the runway shows, that would have been twelve for the S/S 04 season :flower:

I dunno why I've never come to Daria's thread before. She's 100% stunning.

I have to agree with the people who are saying that VS could take her career way further than anything else right now. With her body, her face, her attitude I'm sure she could take over that runway like Gisele did. I get that maybe Daria doesn't want that much attention ( although we can't speak for her) but I definitely think if she's gonna do Pirelli she should think about VS too d:

Anyway, does anyone know when the Pirelli calander is coming out?

you never know what a model - and her agents - can decide (me i still have to understand what the 2006 gq editorial was for...) but it seems to me that the pirelli calendar has a different tradition and recognition from the vs show.

^ Very true. Pirelli is probably better thought of, but IMO in the end they're not that different, especially if VS cleans up its act like people are saying it's going to. Pirelli is definitely more artistic than VS can ever hope to be though.

Jessica Miller did Pirelli calendar, but I don't remember her doing VS and yes Pirelli is less cheesy and more sexual than VS.

even if not always successful in that, in general pirelli aims at erotism so every pic kind of tells a story interpretated by models. that's what i think of when i think of a certain artistic purpose in it. vs show is pure direct (hetero)sexism with no narrative in it.

paradox is that when you have artistic erotism (in that meaning above) you generally get nudity too. when you just have commercial excitement, puritanism comes along too, so you'll have models walking with ice-creams in their hands, but you'll never see a sinful nipple!! like sin and blame are on the degree of nudity, a matter of exposed body surface, and not the body-on-sale attitude!
