Daria Werbowy

^ Yes! It's been known for quite some time now. Awesome to see Daria is the face of the collaboration!

Either Daria's face keeps growing every few years, or her nose keeps getting subtly smaller and changing shape.

the only interesting passage is on p. 182: «It’s exciting to catch real or fictive moments, to use my body to metamorphose myself and express in different ways, to play with feminine and masculine genders. It has taken a long time to realise how much these two features are anchored inside myself. It’s inspiring», which is probably her most explicit statement about what used to be the theme of my blog. yes, the darialogist was right! the only new thing is, as i said already here, that her agency has finally allowed her to be so explicit, at least about her gender game.

Thank you for translating! Would love to read whole interview in English

eword, that was exactly my thought when I read that passage of Daria in that interview! Your old blog came to my mind immediately. I wonder why her agency "allowed" her to talk about that now (and not earlier)? Or maybe she just followed her strict "as little comments/new news on anything" attitude (until the last half year)?

I'm not sure i understood your last sentence, but yeah i would say that now it has become definitely explicit and programmatic what once was implicit and almost hidden. i was reading another recent interview where she states that she wants to use her body more for the creativity than for the looks. maybe she has simply become more mature and self-aware, also stronger and with more power, i don't know. for sure there is a different strategy behind, so missing or even regretting glamorous daria means not to understand her evolution as a model. and maybe as a woman too, but this is a personal side we have no right to access.
