Idc about the outside opinions on his Versace, it was a breathe of fresh air. It was sexy in its own way that still felt Versace in spirit, and I’m happy that he references more of the 80’s Versace especially in those beautiful diamond checkered dresses that had the scandalous open backs.

Hoping he finds a good brand that will help nurture his talent an appreciate his risk-taking unlike Prada group who can SUCK IT!

It was .I did like that he pretty much said f*** it and went his own route. It was just so far left, I saw the bags up close they where gorgeous. But it was all just to much to soon. Also they advertisement was a better representation of his ideas then the actual fashion show. Thats a problem. I do hope to see him around somewhere i never wish the end of a young designer.

They, Capri Holdings, probably under Prada Group pressure, put enormous pressure for this show to not happen, it was called cancelled last August before getting reinstated as a presentation, then a show, mid-September.

As documented correct Prada put pressure/advised to not make a big show and minimize the exposure as the didn't want to create a bigger false start as they knew who they wanted for the CD position from start of decision to buy the company.

But fact is also as noted in press that until Prada Group officially completed its acquisition of Versace from Capri Holdings which only happen on December 2, 2025, for approximately US$1.45 billion, following a six-month regulatory approval process.

They don't own the company and can't make decision but only advise and if the deal fell off capri & versace would also risk for relaunching the brand post Donatella and delay attracting other buyers.

Versace is always the saddest store in Montenapoleone, I don't think I have ever seen people inside.
Even Balmain at the start of the street and Ferragamo seems to do better lol at least I see someone inside every now and then.
Gucci is the funniest one with more shopping assistant inside than la Rinascente makeup floor lol

Yeah, there are not much traffic there...Ferragamo is saddest for me, and their windows are tragic...
Gucci, yes the people at the front look at you like saying "please enter the store we are bored" haha
