It's very much like Brognano's Y2K aesthetic, but the offering itself is much more versatile.

It's Blumarine by Anna Molinari mid 2010's super tacky euro trash offering + Brognano...it could work with the right casting and artistic direction

Prefall debuts are always a bit anticlimactic so I always give it a pass.

This is fine. It’s nice when a designer is designing these days, however this collections gets bogged down with the intention of going viral with certain pieces. The kitten panties are fun, but once I saw the puppy, it felt juvenile and not as provocative and intentional as I originally thought. The woof shirt. Eh ok I guess.

The accessories need work. Way too much branding on everything for a brand like “Blumarine”. Blumarine is not that girl, at least yet and again, it comes across extremely cheap and juvenile.

The styling is tacky and lazy. We are almost in Philip plein territory here.

I hope his real debut is focused, energetic and has the right cast. Leave the y2k alone, elevate and pick up where Peter Dundas left off at Emilio Pucci. That brand positioning and market is ripe for the taking - Fausto is not capable at cavalli, Peter had lost his sense of taste and missoni got rid of the CD who was moving in that direction.
