David Koma S/S 2023 London

He's really trying to keep up with the likes of Cadwallader's Mugler, Mulier's Alaia and Dion Lee but I don't think he realises that they will fizzle out at some point and need a rebranding. Sad to see because I really liked his more sleek and razor sharp offerings.

I also miss his Mugler too, especially seeing what it has now become.

This is especially sad, because he was replaced by Cadwaller, who made reboot Mugler successful. I don't think he forgives himself for that.

Look 35 is ok, the rest of the collection is definitely not. Very incoherent, some looks belong in a completely different collection–although, to be honest, they belong more to the sales rack.

The marine motifs and the netting are so cliché and I don’t think they make sense with the aesthetic values of this brand.
