Dawid Wolinski

Since I haven't seen his own thread here as yet, and I think Dawid's designs are worth attention, here it is.

Dawid Wolinski is one of the most succesful Polish designers. In his country, just like Maciej Zien and Gosia Baczynska, he dresses top Polish celebrities but his talent is also slowly being recognized abroad (and as you can read on his site - http://dawidwolinski.pl - his clients include Nicole Ritchie, Michelle Rodriguez, Kimberly Stewart and Paris Hilton). In 2004 he was invited to the Lisbon Fashion Week as special guest and his collection close the Fashion Week.

Great pics, thanks stripes! I didn't know before that he got popular in the US. Apparently, Dawid's works are sold in a LA boutique and if his clients include Nicole Ritchie and Paris Hilton that must be a good sign for his career. Maybe Paris isn't the best person to advocate good taste, but it definitely shows recognition and success. Go Dawid!

I've just found a picture of Dawid Wolinski with his models backstage at the Fall/Winter 05/06 collection. It's pretty funny. I hope he'll show his next collection soon - this one was shown in November 2005.
