Del Core F/W 2021.22 Milan

Is it really bad that I like this?
Maybe just because it's so out of line with what we usually expect of Milan. Even if the designs are not really new, it's somehow daring to put out something like this these days and the execution is quite good, there is way more control than the standard Gucci evening-wear. And, unlike the latter, they do feel like clothes and not costumes.

^Actually, Daniel Del Core used to be a VIP designer at Gucci. That explains why there are similarities between those two brands. However, I feel like his own brand is much more wearable. The styling is on point, it's not as costume-y as Michele's work, so the collection feels fresh and clean. The ambition to build a solid brand is there, too. I wish them all the best because this debut is really promising.
