Delpozo F/W 2015.16 New York

Wearibility here is.. questionable. Beautiful but super difficult to pull off, unless you're built like a beanpole.

Raf Simons? Where?

The craftsmanship is always stunning in Delpozo.

Been following Delpozo since before their NYFW debut.

All I have to say is: What the hell happened to them this season?!!!

Sublime collection! While I don't think this is his strongest outing, it's more than substantial. The colours here are very vibrant, the embellishments are really interesting and the silhouettes are refreshing considering what others are doing at the moment. I'm particularly in love with the red cape dress and the leather cut-outs on those felted pieces. I however think it could have done with a little bit of editing.

With regards to the Raf Simon's reference; I don't see it at all. If it's the colours, that's not a signature Raf alone can claim ownership of. If anything this collection is very typical of Josep Font himself. Since he became known when the brand moved to New York, he's been very consistent and has created an identifiable yet non-repetitive image for it. I for one would love to see him at Balenciaga.

So gorgeous, I believe Josep adapted the collection with the atmosphere of New York, loved this collection ... futuristic dolls.

I like this. It's once again a fun and beautifully crafted collection, very much in tune with the brand's signature style. However, last season was a lot more refined, no?

While I see some raf for dior elements, this is much much better. While it's not his greatest collection, it's still lovely. That red chiffon dress is stunning

I had a mixed reaction when viewing this...

First I thought: I hope he's not letting the early praise go to this head, because this isn't as strong as his other collections.

Then I thought: Dammit, I freaking love that he is not dumbing down his stuff (especially considering that this is safe-as-hell NYFW!) and is continuing to explore construction techniques, shapes, and the type of distinct patterns, that got him that early praise to begin with.

So, to conclude, I love it and he can keep on keepin' on as far as I'm concerned.

It looks way better in motion, such a lovely collection.

His collection is getting stronger each season,I see so many development couture detail in ready to wear. It's remarkable to see his next collection would be like.

Detailed are exquisite as usual. Not my favourite collection from Font but those patchwork flower on the coats and skirts are so lovely. I also adore his use of tulle.

so sculptural and interesting...it's always good to have boundary pushers. oh, and those knits!

Exquisite collection! The color palette was delicious. Although the shapes aren't really that new his use of color and proportion made it feel fresh. He deserves more praise and exposure.
