Marc Jacobs F/W 2015.16 New York

Gosh the girls walked so fast, I could barely appreciate the stunning textures. I liked the Hitchcockian vibe. The outerwear laced with sparkle was extraordinary. There was a balance of bizarre prints with period silhouettes which is very Jacobs (also very Prada). Why did he intentionally send out four black models in a row? Regardless, my favourite piece was the zippered midnight blue gown towards the end.

Very Marc for Louis Vuitton and it's good. It's very focused and luxurious. I love the fact that it's about real clothes, it's not a formula or a variation collection.
One of his best in recent years.

Too bad MBMJ can't be as good as that.

I saw that too and I've noticed a lot of other designers do that as well, grouping the minority models together. It's like they're all closely arranged so the designer can check them off of a list and fulfill a quota. Not cool.

doesn't really wow me, it's a standard collection by him..last season was better

I guess I'm the cheese standing alone.

Those clothes looked like dusty old museum costumes than anything remotely modern or desirable. I kept wondering to myself what long-haul sea steamliner they disembarked from. And perhaps if they smelled like mothballs? This was more Night at the Museum than NYFW 2015.

The fabrics while beautiful, are rendered dated by those formulaic shapes. And the shoes...everything seems so pedantic. A successful collection is hinged on that element of surprise. And I saw nothing new here that we haven't seen at Prada, Vuitton (under his stead), Dior (under Galliano) and McQueen.

like always the hair and make up makes all the girls look ugly..difficult task but they achieved it

We've seen so many designers over the past few years dial up the themes and gimmicks, that fail to coverup their very lackluster designs. But here, the clothes are absolutely beautiful, and the atmosphere just makes it all magical. Best of NYFW, by far!

Fur coats are

The coats remind me of Louis Vuitton FW 2012-3013 and the slip dresses of LV FW 2013-2014  Nostalgia <3

His best collection in years. Love the vibe. Very luxurious and witchlike. But on second look there isn't much I would like to own.

Is it me, or does this collection look like 2 versions of the same look..just w/ different fabrics and surface decorations? Not like that's a bad thing, because the end result is quite easy on the eyes.

I can't ever get enough of those sweeping, floor-length pleated gowns..very cool, if I may say so myself.

While I couldn't care less about last season, this is the Marc I love. Excellent collection, I'm crazy about the look no. 8, the embellished jacket with leopard collar is fabulous.

Never understood why designers do that.

AMAZING! gosh this has to be his most accomplished collection in sooo long, definitely sense the vibe from his days Louis Vuitton. I was actually surprised by how good the collection is especially compared to the last few seasons.:heart::heart:

wow. This is splendid and super luxurious.
it reminds me of "Midnight in Paris"...this collection is much more evening wear focused which is a bit different from his usual practice.

It reminds me of his previous work for LV and some thing about it reminds me of Galliano in Dior, but, I am not complaining. This is the Marc that I love. This looks so chic, expensive and every that I would want to wear for fall. Also, this doesn't look the nyfw for me, it's very pfw tbh.
