Denim shorts

I have not seen a thread on this. I've seen many girls here in nyc wearing them- its popping up in alot of trendy boutiques, I think paired with gladiator sandals, we are going to see alot of that look this summer...

the big trend here was denim shorts that were 'rolled' at the bottom....not like thick cuffed shorts but a sort of thin fold at the bottom of the short, stitched that way....so they looked like cut offs that had been rolled up but people were buying them that way....and i'm still trying to find the shoes!.

it was such a huge streetstyle trend here and yet it's so hard to find pics...

I've always worn denim shorts and I will after this trend dies. I think it looks really great with tanned, gamine legs. Its the only item of clothing that I will purchase from A&F.

You took the words out of my mouth. I never would have thought as demin shorts in themselves as a "trend", really ... cause pretty everybody I know has a pair and has been wearing them for years and years... It's not a trend to me! Maybe a certain style of jean shorts, but just any jean shorts in general, I don't really consider a trend.

Totally agree with everything! (Except I'm in Southern California). Erin Wasson, and of course, Kate Moss, wear them well.
