Does anyone have any footage of Denisa speaking in English? All of have of her is an interview on Czech TV after she won the Elite model Look; she was very scared and timid (I would be too in a television studio).

i haven't seen the video you referred to of denisa speaking english. there is a video on sueprmodels.nl shot obviously in her agency in which she introduces herself in english and gives a little walk. but overall, denisa just doesn't speak much.

I'm fairly sure I acquired the clip on this board; I had a look and the original file is still on my HDD, filename InterviewCT24-130307.rm.wmv, date July 2007. It's fairly big, like 174 MB and 30 mins long, though Denisa is only on for about 8 minutes. If you cannot find the original, or if, like me, you don't like Microsoft's WMV format, I can try to extract Denisa's segment and convert it to a Divx/Xvid like my other posts. I've never tried converting a wmv before, so I'm unsure if my software tools are up to the task.

I'll take a look at supermodels.nl. I quipped once that Kim Noorda was a 'mute model'; I guess the same can be said for Denisa. Michaela Kocianova seems to do the talking for her.

This is my edit/conversion of Denisa's Czech TV interview from 2007, 320x240 res, 16 min length, from Wmv to xvid. An unpleasant task. Tried opening the Wmv in TmpgEnc - no go. Two versions of VirtualDub also knocked it back because they didn't want to get in trouble with Microsoft. Finally found that VirtualDub-Mpeg would access wmvs but it didn't have a VFW codec for Windows Media, so I had to download a file called wmv9VCMsetup.exe. Successfully converted it to xvid using a bitrate of 500 kbps, but the audio was out of synch with the video. I hate synching audio, but now the disparity between the 2 streams is barely noticeable. Video editing isn't for the dilatente.

I bought a very old (July 07) ish of Vogue Italia with Denisa as the cover star. despite.. and I mean DESPITE the fact that (1) I can't understand a word... save from an almost English sounding word which I'm sure has the same meaning and common Italian phrases and (2) I consider it "expensive" for a back issue, it was worth it. Especially the Supermods go to rehab ed by Meisel. I want to frame the pages. But seriously, I do. And she's lovely.
