And I would agree though you do have the added comfort of a nice shoulder strap. You can wear a Paddy on your shoulder too but its a little bit awkward I find.

there's a bottlegreen hildegarde (at least i think it's a hilde based on the info in the description) on ebay.. very tempted. does anyone who has this bag find the weight to be a complete hindrance to enjoying the bag?

^ I personaly dont mind the weight but all my bags end up weighing a ton after all my stuffs inside. It's really such a great bag though, I would definatly go for it. I esp. love the black and white they're doing this season.

I just got the persephone in dark brown!! I bought it from mytheresa.com and i think it was the last one they had.. the bag arrived last thurs and I'm totally in love! The size is perfect for me (i love big bags) and the leather is just gorgeous! I can wear it comfortably over my shoulder even when I have a big coat on... just perfect! I am not that taken back by the weight, it seems to weigh the same or slightly heavier (maybe 0.5-1lb heavier) than my Chloe large zippy paddington..

After a season, I still can't get the bottlegreen out of my head .
The black and brown ones do pop up on ebay every now and then, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed and hoping that I'll get lucky!
I seem to be going through a phase of craving for coloured bags nowadays.
For those with the Persephone or the Hildegaard, do you still use this bag regularly?

I have too many bags so some get ignored for a while, I havent worn it for over a month but I do still love it It really compliments a lot of outfits well. Maybe I'll wear it tonight.
