i quite like giles deacon's illustration on page 27. it reminds me that famous illustration of an yohji yamamoto outfit.
honestly, i find that whole creative mess style to be getting old. or maybe im just a very precise person

how splendid thread... I also have many designer sketches, I can upload them when I get home... I have recent john galliano and valentino sketches and I think I got Chanel couture... and then many lacroix, gaultier vintage sketches... probably you would like to see...

okay, when I get home I'll upload them all... maybe next week, but I'll be there only for a day or two. I didn't know about this thread, so uploading pics after so many years of collecting fashion articles will make my post kinda big.. I also (illegally, again) took some pictures at a presentation of Greta Garbo's life in Paris of the original Christian Dior & Yves Saint Laurent sketches for her... they're kinda unique as one can tell ;-) gonna upload them soon.

I really like the style of drawing here.
Where did you find these scketches? Are you sure sketches are done by Ghesquiere himself? Its seems to be very precious, cause i could never found any drawing by him.
