I think Mugler's designs look best on someone tall and statuesque - added height means longer limbs, a more elongated shape, balancing out the hips and bust, meaning you still see an intensely hourglass figure, but teamed with the physical elegance of a model.
Beyonce's got curves, and she's a good height, but to me, she's not tall enough to really be the boss of every vintage Mugler piece she's worn.
But designs that have been imagined with her in mind from the start will take every aspect of her body - and her performance - into consideration, and I look forward to seeing the results.
