I know nothing of Diane Kruger, but all I know is that her and Alexa Chung had similar looks: cute dress + skinny black belt + black lace-up booties. Diane Kruger's dress was more colorful, but the only problem I had with both looks were the choice of shoes. There have been very few lace-up boots I've loved, and neither of the ones worn by Alexa Chung and Diane Kruger were on my short list.
