i love the idea of the gown (?) and it is indeed very much Marie Antoinette (big and ridiculous), but the textile is killing me, it looks like a table cloth. it's a no in my book, i think.

I can't believe you guys don't like the Dior! I'm not usually a Dior fan but this dress suits her in Cannes perfectly. For me, she was the overall best dressed of the entire festival. But maybe its because there were so many more opportunities for her to be photographed as a member of the jury.

Well: it's very Victorian. I don't mind the idea of a bustle, actually, but this is just SO wide, in the front, on the sides AND in the back. It's like you can hear the "beep, beep, beep, beep - WIDE LOAD coming through!" LOL. It's dramatic, but not my favourite.
