She is quite well-known in France - her association with Chanel and she was married with Guillaume Canet. She speaks excellent French and has made quite a few prominent if not always successful films. IMO French audience are not aware of her career in the US, especially on TV.

The other day I was at the cinema watching the previews and suddenly there was Diane in a french movie (Les garçons et Guillaume, à table!)! it was quite the surprise but I guess we only are aware of her HW movies, aren´t we?
at least that´s my case, there´s a whole side of her career that I´m not all that aware of...
