I have many thoughts and feelings, but the summary of this is basically “yay!!!”.

902: Love the Miu Miu dress. It fits her perfectly and I just love the shape of the dress.
905: The Bambi Awards look is nice. Refreshing to see her in something straight up elegant. I personally don’t really like the actual dress. I just think those peep hole tops always tend to gape forwards and the cut out around the waist is unflattering on anyone who has hips. But those are just my personal opinions. I still think Diane looks great.
The off duty look is good. If she wants to be slightly alternative with her style this is how it should be done.
906: I am so obsessed with this editorial. Enough said.
910: Once again, this is a good example of her being “edgy” without being so on the nose about it. Those pants are killer.
913: I really like the top half of this look. I know it is more of an out-there ensemble but I’m mostly digging it. Just wish the whole thing (especially the pants) was slightly more tailored and that she had a different pair of shoes.
I really really really love the red carpet ensemble. That dress looks GREAT on her and I love the boots with it. I think this is what she has been aiming for, for the last few months and she finally made the style work for her. I am so glad she is wearing this outfit and it is not wearing her.
Overall: Diane is on the upward swing! I think all of these outfits have an edgy/alternative undertone without being so try hard about it, and the result is that she MAKES them fit the vibe. I feel like she went from “telling, not showing” to “showing, not telling”. (If that makes sense…) Instead of every outfit screaming, “Hello fellow Grunge-lovers. I too, am a Rebellious Teen who loves partaking in alternative activities such as listening to Kirk Cobane (sic) and wearing chokers,” she altered her pre-existing style to work for her. She carries it off so much better and I actually buy the “alternative” vibe from her.
No awful hair, tacky cut-outs (usually not a fan of crop tops, but I quite like that No 21 ensemble) or juvenile jewelry.
