In my opinion, there is no such thing as dressing your age (unless you're a 13-year-old who looks like Jodie Foster in Taxi Driver). Carine Roitfeld could go out wearing the most sheer dress, but that's ok if she pulls it off.

She does not dress like an old lady, that's ridiculous! She looks classic. People seem to say the same with Carey Mulligan. Just because they don't wear dresses above the knee, it doesn't mean they're conservative and dowdy! It's her style and I praise her for actually having personal style. It's just so rare these days. You see all these celebrities with no distinct style at all trying all these trends at once and it's just mad.

Diana is classy, but that doesn't excuse the fact that she does indeed dress like she's 40. Actually I've seen 40 year olds who dress less stuffy.

I personally think actresses like Carey Mulligan, Emma Watson, Keira Knightley, and Elle Fanning have found a nice medium...they dress classy, but they still have fun with their style and dress like they're in their 20s or in Elle's case 12.

But who knows, maybe this is just who she is. It just seems so uptight/uncomfortable.
She's got perfectionist written all over her.

ITA, she is beautiful and classy but very very boring when it comes to style she plays it way too safe. she's so young and can have some much fun with her looks but she doesn't. someone said she acts like an old soul and it shows in her style.

i see zero chemistry between her and alex imho even though she looks very much in love (just look @ pic #10 in the second post)

Her style is very girly, but sometimes it can be Little House on the Prairie-esque.
Nice to see her mixing it up though.
