it's a chinese word actually..not a common one too

but my grandma (who is a chinese language teacher) says it's pronounced "moo-shoo" XD...but it could also sound like "mushie" so...=T

Chinese? I might be able to help here.

Since I'm not clear what "muxu" would be in Chinese characters I can't tell the tone for sure, but without the tones (actually meaning it wouldn't really make much sense to a Chinese, but heck) it would be read as "mooh-shü". The "ü" sound is the same as in German; for those who don't know German, just say "ee" as in "keep" and then round your lips as if to say "who" - the resulting sound will be close to what "ü" sounds like.

Oh I read it the French way!
When you pronounce it the Chinese way, it would sound like how your grandmother said it would. (My father is Chinese.)
