Difficult Designer / Brand Pronunciation

Madonna just called Olivier Theyskens "Oh-Liv-ee-AY Touch-Skens." I have never heard his name said before, so I assume she is right?

I usually say "Er-mez" for Hermes. It's probably wrong though.

I only recently found out Givenchy was pronounced "Zhe-vaun-shay".

Versace -- Vir- Saa- Cheeeeeeee

Not Ver-saays a la Elizabeth Berkley in the blockbuster!! Showgirls.

This is an English pronunciation, but the correct one is:
V e [like elephant]r s a tch e [always like the first e in elephant]

Is Yohji [Yamamoto] pronounce "Yo-jee" or "yo-hee"?
Also, how is Moschino pronounced?
thank you!

Moschino is something similar to Moskeeno.

Touch-skens? I don't think so.

I would be inclined to prounouce it Ohli-vi-yay Thees-kins but i've also been inclined to pronounce Fendi as Fandi. It sounds better to me as Fandi but yes i know i'm wrong.

I was right on Loewe though.

ok, i was never really sure how to pronounce my fave jeans i am always talking about. but i heard it siwy, was pronounced, like "see wee". Someone at Ron Herman said "soo weee" like Anna Sui...but I always pronounced Ana Sui,like Ana "Sweee".
What the heck? Help. I need help with those 2.

^i've always pronounce "sui" like swee too, but my friend told me it was "soo". i've heard some other people say swee. help!!

yeah, it totally threw me off!
how do we say siwy and how do we say sui?
On the style channel, they have definitely said sui, like "swee", but on the E channel, I heard "soo eee"
As for Siwy---???

That is an interesting one... alot of top people in the entertainment/fashion industry say Anna "Soo-wee." The most common way I have heard it said, however, is a way that hasn't even been mentioned yet: Anna "Sh-wee"

Mr. Elbaz pronounces it Lon-vun-very soft n.

the vin part is always pronounced as ven with an almost unexisting "n". for example coq au vin.

* i'm sure someone will argue the "lon" part. there are variations.
