Dior Autumn 2004 Off The Runway

not fond of these, not impressive at all, and not really my thing.
maybe the sheer black blouse is the only one I'd get.

and that clear trench reminds me of the Prada one.

Thanks for posting, Chanel_girl :flower:

i only liked the little gold jacket.. and maybe the dress number 7 from the first page of this topic... the whole 'feeling' of this collection is so not my cup..

i also agree with all MissPurple posted , that clear trench is a shameless copy  there is a certain 'cheapness' in the Dior style :ninja:

thanks for posting the photos chanel-girl :flower:

just a reminder to you all about the clear trench...dolce did that already several years before the prada version...i saw a woman wearing one during the NY fashion shows that season...and it was all fogged up because of her body heat...i always wondered how one could wear that for very long...the coat itself was fabulous however...their version had grey trim and an extra wide belt...so it was quite dramatic and chic...
\
i actually have a strong affection for the look of a clear plastic raincoat...reminds me of my childhood in the 70's... :P B)

I  the Burberry ones and I do remember the plastic Dolce trench but I never bought it for the store that I work for I thought that we might have some trouble selling it if we did

I like a lot of this collection, i love the purple leopard print dress, i know a lot of people'd think its tacky but i really like it i love wild prints, not plain animal print, but leopard in purple looks great i love the bag that matches that.

I however don't like the plastic coat. I do like the gold jacket though very very nice

it's amazing just how uninteresting these clothes are compared to how outrageous the runway presentation was.

I know. I really like the ludacrousness of Galliano's runway fare. It's exciting and fun.

...i'm liking the blue burberry...i hadn't realized it was see thruogh....thx lena :flower:

maybe I am just missing something or maybe I have spend too much time in Northern Europe and my fashion sensibilities have become have become too presbyterian as a result, but I just do not 'get' Dior clothes. I'm afraid I just look at the and think they look cheap and tarty. I liked Galliano's early work for his own label but for the last few years its just beyond me! why do people love them so much - I am interested toknow - is it their sexiness?
