Dior: Limited edition Saddle bags

In spring 2007, Dior will come out with 12 different saddle bags; each inspired by the 12 countries Galliano has been to. According to a Dior SA, there will be only 100 bags made.

I think these have the potential to come out as quite tacky, but it will definately be interesting to see the designs.

the countries are USA , Russia , France , China , Argentina , India , Japon , Egypt , Spain don't know the last 3
I personnally love the French , Egyptian and Russian one

perhaps he has been to more and has just chosen to be inspired by the 12 that made the biggest impression or something like that?

...most will be priced at around $5,150... there are some with fur and diamonte details which would be more.

...the countries are Japan, China, Mexico, Argentina, Russia, India, Egypt, England, Spain, France, Morocco, and USA.

Unfortunately for more than 5K per bag, I might as well top it up and go for a Birkin instead.

i love the france one! what a neat lil inspiration idea for a bag line....kinda quirky, like postcards, but you can actually do something with these besides post em in your scrapbook, eh? coooooooool!
