Dior Makeup

The only product i've bought from Fall is the black/silver eyeshadow duo set to wear with Extase Pinks 804 eyeshadow.I also bought the Extase mascara, crayon eyeliner in brown and Miss Dior CHerie Eau de parfum. Loving Dior

What's the name of the color for the first eyeshadow quad posted above? It's gorgeous!

I really have to complain about the new Hydralife Tinted Moisturizer. I loved the previous range's HydrAction tinted moisturizer- the light shade just worked so good with my skin color, but Hydralife's palest shade is too dark for me. I have to switch to some other tinted moisturizer:judge:. I really wish if HydrAction line was still able to purchase, but it was just replaced by Hydraction...:(

I got this amazing couture edition eyeshadow duo for smokey eyes in deep black & silver. Perfection! It is highly pigmented and lasts all night! ^_^

I'm so happy I bought it, even for the price.

Last week, I bought the diorskin sculpting powder. (the one with three colors).

Most amazing powder ever, and it's supposed to be good for the skin. With this powder on, my skin really looks flawless and natural.

I'm with you, Dior eyeshadow is fantastic, it's ridiculously pigmented, never fades or creases (at least not for me) and it just gorgeously shimmery, I use the gold one  I think Dior is underrated as a make up brand but for me it's definitely my favorite. I use a few different brands but I use the most products from Dior

^^So true Gainsbourg! I'm also quite a fan of Dior make-up. The only exception are Dior foundations, which are too orangy for me.

This is supposed to be out now in the UK - and September in the US - but I haven't noticed it yet (dior.com / temptalia.com):

Dior Mitzah Collection for Fall 2011

Introducing the Dior Mitzah Collection, inspired by Mitzah Bricard, the audacious and glamorous muse to Christian Dior. Born in Paris to an English mother and Austrian father, Mitzah Bricard captured the fascination of Christian Dior at the very beginnings of the house. While she was officially responsible for the Dior hat collection, she played a key role in advising and influencing the couturier on many aspects of the brand, including the creation of the New Look.

Known for her love of leopard (she wore a leopard scarf wrapped around her wrist at all times), the color lilac and over-the-top jewelry, it was said that Mitzah could turn the ordinary into stylish. “Ms. Bricard is one of those rare people whose only reason for living is elegance,” Monsieur Dior said of his muse, whose unique extravagance helped inspire many of his designs.

The collection, featuring a limited edition 5-Couleurs Eyeshadow palette stamped in the iconic leopard pattern, two Vernis shades inspired by the same earthy print and a tawny, shimmering brown Diorshow mascara, pays homage to this one-of-a-kind woman.

The Collection
  • Mitzah 5-Couleurs Eyeshadow ($60.00) (Limited Edition)
  • Vernis in Camel / Ebony ($22.00 each) (Limited Edition)
  • Diorshow Mascara in Golden Brown ($24.50) (Limited Edition)
  • Mitzah Collector Palette ($90.00) (Limited Edition)
Each numbered, limited edition eyeshadow palette reproduces the legendary panther/ leopard print — now a signature print of the House of Dior — favored by Mitzah Bricard. Shades of elegant camel, chocolate brown and beige shadow can be applied separately or combined to create a sumptuous tawny shade.

I am truly interested in the golden brown mascara. Sounds really pretty. I wish Dior would do more beauty charms. I miss collecting them.l

The mascara is the product I'm hoping to see - I've never had a good experience with standard black Diorshow, but I once got a limited edition shade which was a muted neutral with tones of green and grey, and while that doesn't sound appealing, it was phenomenal and lasted forever. So I'm more than ready to welcome a 'shimmering brown' if it performs half as well as that one did.

Dior Fall 2011 Collection: Blue Tie

“Navy blue is the only color which can ever compete with black,” said Christian Dior. Dior’s new Blue Tie Fall Color Collection features shades of deep marine, luminous petrol blue and sky blue tones delicately highlighted by touches of white to create a sophisticated, unexpected version of the smoky eye. Lips create the perfect complement in a range of luminous pinks and rosy beiges with a touch of light-reflecting gloss and nails catch the eye in dark blue and beige. Some of the metallic nail varnishes in the Dior Holiday collection intrigue me, although until you wear this sort of shade on your own nails, it's hard to tell whether it'll look sublime or plain muddy (messywands.blogspot.com):

Dior Holiday 2011 d'Or Collection: Exquis

Anything with flecks of gold is more or less guaranteed to tug at my heartstrings and there are a lot of flecks of gold out at counters right now. You can bet it hasn't been easy walking away from a lot of things. I'm still patting my own back over not succumbing to Merveille.

Definitely wasn't the case for Dior Vernis Exquis #611. I was so enamored by it I actually cooed while I was at the counter. Exquis is a taupe brown with delectable gold microshimmer. I haven't had a chance to try it on my nails but I can tell it'll probably be my favorite nail polish of this season. From painting it on the nail wheel, it seems like there should be nothing to worry about in terms of texture and application.

I don't have a similar color in my stash at all. The closest was Butter London Fash Pack, but as you can see, it's not close at all. Not even. Gold flecks. Swoon.

Dior has amazing eye palettes with great pigmented color payoff

I'm currently using their spf50 BB Cream, and alternating that with my Dior Forever foundation which is always gonna be a HG.
