Most Used/Bought over again Makeup Product

All through high school and most of college I was a makeup chameleon but since I've been in my 20s pretty much I'm constantly buying and wearing little else than:

- Chanel Matte Lumiere liquid foundation in Ivoire (oh my god, amazing)
- Diorshow Iconic mascara
- Mac Liquidlast eyeliner in Powerplum and Point Black
- this same crappy Revlon long-lasting liquid lipstick, I forget the name, but there's two colours -- sienna and sangria -- that are always in my bag. it's like $8 and honestly the best all-day lipstick i've ever used.

This is a great thread! I've gotten some ideas on what to buy next hehehe

I repurchase :
-MAC blushes.. I tend to change shades but I love Blushbaby and the Hello Kitty Fun n Games one.
-Maybelline liquid eyeliner in brown.. have been using it for almost 8 years now but I should try something else soon.
-Carmex!
-Physician's Formula Powder in beige.. matches my skin perfectly but I go through it within a month after daily use.

Hi everyone! I'm new in the community, and just decided out of nowhere to choose this thead to start posting, I hope you don't mind x)

So, my staples are:

- Christian Dior's Forever foundation. It used to be Stila, but they discontinued the brand in Spain a couple of years ago. I'm still on the look for a good, luminous, covering-but-not-cakey foundation...

- Bobbi Brown's gel eyeliner in graphite, as black is too hard on me.

- L'Oreal's mascaras: I use both the Telescopic and the Cils Architecte. One of them really defines and reach all lashes, and the other separates and enlongates them. (sorry ,can't remember which does what, LOL...)

Dior's Diorshow mascara is a dream. I will never ever ever go back to any other mascara again.

Chanel poudre universelle libre
Chanel Inimitable mascara
Elizabeth Arden eight hour cream (if it counts as make-up)

word on everyone raving about diorshow -- it's so 'overrated' and 'hyped' but it honestly if totally incredible. diorshow iconic is seriously amazing -- i have extremely short, blonde, pointed-down lashes, and somehow this stuff makes them long, curly, and full, and isn't clump and above all isn't HARD -- my lashes still stay flexible and real looking without getting all crusty and hard. SERIOSULY AMAZING. the non-waterproof also doesn't run/flake at all. so totally worth the money. this and the chanel foudation are seriously all i need in life makeupwise.

I love Diorshow Iconic, it's the mascara I always go back to when trying out a few other brands. For myself, I have long lashes and mascara's tend to make them spidery or clumpy but Iconic just has the right amount of volume and length with no crustiness or clumps. And for whatever reason, I find the brush the most easiest to handle; a few times I've applied it without an mirror and no problems.

^^ agreed on that -- most other mascaras i've sort of liked have had an uber skinny curved brush -- diorshow iconic is so fat and fluffy and i was expecting to have problems, but didn't! i also always have the issue where applying mascara also always ends up all over my eyelids -- just doesn't happen with it either, which saves like 20 minutes of precarious q-tip action post-makeup-routine.

the girl at the counter gave me a really good tip when i bought it, which is to never go side-to-side with the brush 'cause that makes it clumpy, just a few coats straight from root to tip, and it works very well :)

Totally agreeing with lafindesiecle and ElleLesley.

It honestly does not clump and it looks so elegant on lashes. I wouldn't say it's like the ads but realistically, it's the same idea. Every lash is separated, I've never had a clumping issue, and the brush is so small yet I have never had to rinse it under water. :magic: Probably the most satisfying product I've ever used.
