not only do i have runway stuff..i have actual samples that have been ON the runway puchased at sample sales...

^_^

but i also have tons of jcrew and zara ...

the runway stuff is often too over-the-top for my liking... i don't like my clothes to scream 'designer'...even if they are... i just buy what i like and what looks good on me... :P :flower:
That me as well..You don't have to do runway to look good ..it's all in whwta works well for you

Oops sorry.bout that..you seem to be in the know anyhow..Keep it up

 this site....

i do buy some versace runway because it really suits me... i go for the more elegant pieces though... i think with runway fashion you have to stick with what you really like... and have to ask yourself if you would still be wearing it next season... i do like some fun items but i think it is better to stick to runway outfits that are practical :flower:

also i would advise girls or guys who want to buy runway pieces to feel like they belong to a brand... you really dont have to prove anything...

I do have some cool pieces, but i's all been given to me as gifts. I will def buy stuff from the runway once I can afford it. gotta eat first!
I would buy some Galliano, FrostFrench, Anna Sui, Chloe, etc...

No... I  getting inspiration from the runway.. but I don't think I have the physique for couture, !! But - I do buy handbags that take my fancy - but I have a dollar limit to how much I'll spend. I am starting to get into designer shoes though...:woot:

nope. can't afford. I'll buy if I found some cool runway clothes second hand

No, I can't afford it right now since I'm still in high school and plus they don't sell any decent runway clothes here.

yep
i always convince myself that i shouldnt buy it and try to make it myself......but then there are always exceptions

i only have 2 actual, worn-on-the-runway samples, both are ivory coats, 1 cashmere fendi and one alpaca peter som. i picked the fendi up at a sample sale for $270 and the som at loehmanns in DC of all places for $400 (they get all the runway stuff down there, i think designers don't send it to the local ny discount places because it would cheapen their brand.) i've bought lots more from Prada and Calvin Klein only to sell them on eBay.

in terms of designer clothes i actually purchased in the boutique, i have a prada leather trench and moto and three gucci cocktail dresses i couldn't resist and have made excellent use of.

i'm a desperate label wh*re, so the rest of my stuff is 75% high-end designer obtained at a discounter or outlet or yoox, 25% mid-range casual like lacoste and citizens of humanity obtained from online sites with codes.

accessories are a whole different story, i never scrimp on those! (though i should . . .)

Buying runway pieces

i was allways confused about that. I was looking for some clothes from christian dior

of course you can...with the exception of clothing that does not get enough orders and is never produced...
OR...a few special pieces which are made to order...

but most of it is available...:flower:
