There is a new boutique that opened at the pearl its called Impression, owned by two Qatari girls. Its a multi-brand boutique they sell clothes by a few local designers (Roqaya Al Thani, FML, White Stain, Darkami) & international designers as well (Sass & Bide, Ruthie Davis)
These are just a few names, if you are in Doha you should definitely visit this shop.

Another independent shop opened at The Pearl, it is called 'The Vanity Room'

Lagouna Mall also opened recently it has a department store called '51 East' which carries designers like Jason Wu, Giambatista Valli, Reem Acra, Nina Ricci, Missoni, Marchesa, Viktor & Rolf among others.

So I recently discovered a gem of a store called "Edition" at The Gate mall. They carry Donna Karan, Narciso Rodriguez, Bryan Atwood, Peter Pillotto, Tom Binns... If you happen to be in town do drop by..
