Dolce & Gabbana F/W 2016.17 : Bianca, Cong He, Leila, Mayowa & Sasha by Franco Paget

I was living in Milan for a while and men don't catcall women at all. Women walk around with no bras and half butt cheeks peeking out from shorts and they look but keep their mouths shut. I don't know if this was because of the city and in other regions is different but I was pleasently surprised :)

I like the men ads, simply because the locations are way better imo. They picked the most boring ones for women's...

Oh, I can believe you, but Sicily? Lol. I once visited with a friend, and they dared to hit on her in my presence! I mean, I could've been the bf for all they knew. It felt oddly emasculating, even though I play for the opposite team.

The men's shots are indeed better, if not a bit scattered. What's truly impressive is that the men's line surpasses the women's in terms of design. It's not as as steeped in the age-old Latin mood they cook up season after season.

Yes, they don't do that, not in my area (Venice area) and in other cities/regions I've visited (Florence, Rome, Sardinia and others). It's just a stereotype.
Speaking of stereotypes, I'm surprised Dolce & Gabbana seem to like Italian stereotypes such as spaghetti and loud people (their F/W 15.16 campaign comes to mind). I mean, they could have done so many different things in Naples, instead they just went with the least interesting option (loud people in the background of most shots). Must say I like some of the shots, though (for example the one with the nuns).

That guy wearing the white shirt in the third shot is really hot. And that's all I can say about this campaign. It's just hilarious how bad their campaigns have become in the last few years.

I think the biggest problem is the attitude of the models, they look like imatures tennegers and this is last thing that you wanna look when you wearing D&G...

I think they wanted something very Gucci and ended up with this campaign. You have literally everything here- Adidas, Armani Jeans, fake Louis Vuitton, random loud people, box of Kinder Buenos, Converse and you can't really see the clothes. In this situation it's a good thing, because they just don't fit the theme. They should have been styled in a street-style friendly way because models look like animals in a circus imho. The clothes are just out of context.

Naples is… beauty

Look at these stones. Every single one of them is irregular, but each has been laid by careful hand to fit perfectly alongside its neighbour. This reflects both the society and architecture of Naples: there is a profound and beautiful harmony here that is almost a by-product of what can look at first like chaos. Despite that glorious craziness – and because of it too – Pagetti was blessed with more than enough material to work with on this street-shot campaign. We are honoured to have the opportunity to shoot the campaign on the exquisitely alive streets of this great city.
