Well I just watched it
and it was horrible, desperating, all I wanted is to be finished
the clothes are nice and verything, but the music...the slow walk...makes me depress

I loved the silver suits. But it may also be because I love shiny objects. They make me go, "Ooooo, shiny!" ANd keep my attention.

But really the shiny suits were all I loved.

It just looks like a sexed-up Armani... nothing particularly fresh, incredibly *done* if you asked me... and the way they plastered the logos... need I say more?

I'm not about to go against the majority here. It'll take a lot for someone to show a worse collection this season. I watched about 15 minutes of the show in hopes of seeing something I'd wear. I didn't mind the purples they used at one point and the suits aren't awful, but everything else looks like workout gear. Every time something looked even mediocre it was ruined by a logo hat or some lame patch. Why can't they reserve most of that for D&G or some diffusion line?

I rarely love Dolce's shows, but this is a major step down. I took another look at the current Spring collection. At least that had some kitsch appeal. If they were going to use an olympian theme why not do it when people were still excited about Torino? Who is going to care about the summer olympics in an off year?

I saw the FTV live feed, and kept on thinking, "looks too American sportswear!" (Especially in the beginning few looks.) I appreciate that they removed the ripped-jeans and blazer look that they always favor for Spring, but white shiny satin suits? Igh. Give me the blazer look over this any day.

On the other hand, the host was really hot, but she kept shuffling back and forth and back and forth from the red carpet and backstage. Eventually, I got dizzy and kept flicking the channel. She was great at ad libs, too. When he interviewed this german model who obviously didn't understand her question, she knew what to say in response to his answer that it didn't sound like the model was saying off-tangent things.

The music is...BAD, it's very camp (b/c it's so melodramatic) though, so perfect for D&G. I like a few of the looks, but most of them are ruined with the sport cap and hitop trainers...WTF?

Ooo, the Purple section just begun, I like this...I like the graphic pieces so far, the color blocking, I love. Ohk, silver suit...Im done liking it.

Totally agree. Why are people acting like they expected to see these "too thin" pale guys at dolce..Be real..and I like this collection so far.

i don't know why but it looks to me like an hommage to Gianni Versace (not all the clothes but some. and the big stage, too!). next year it's his "dead" birthday (weird expression!). 10yrs ago in 2007 Gianni was leaving us.
