A rather pleasant young and fresh collection. Again, they did the pyjama thing in 2009 so they are revisiting their body of work and I’m fine with it when it looks this fresh.
Nobody expect new from Dolce & Gabbana after 40years. I’m fine with young and fresh.

However, the disconnect between this and and their Alta Moda is almost hilarious.

I think the styling of the red striped shirt dress with the leopard coat was quite ambitious and unexpected.

Less forced than their previous pandering to young people.

Extremely simple but also looks very expensive. That white fur coat is to die for!
Casting was superb and the set was great. Cheers to the video editing that allowed us to see the clothes and the models without changing the angle every single second.

Maybe it's not particularly special ...but at least it's consistent and I am Über happy that they've dropped this whole influencer approach from the late 10's and early 20's. They just do whatever they do best with not much gimmickery. It's just nice looks, girls look happy and good, it's optimistic. There's a story to this collection - I just freaking want to be that glam morning person, especially in the grey country I live in. Take me there.

Dolce & Gabbana is like putting a large scoop of caviar over the cheapest Mac Donald burger, it looks expensive and decadent, while it's just tacky, wasteful and nauseating. Moreso because they also insist on 80+ looks.
