I just don't know how I feel about Christopher Kain running this thing....is he really the only "successor" to Donatella. He's nothing compared to her I think. I heard somewhere that they were also considering Esteban Cortazar for the job....

I am sure this is gonna look good with someone like Christopher Kain as the executive designer... given that they don't compromise on good fabric and manufacturing quality. I don't think back with much beloved nostalgia when I consider how IT Holding/Ittierre's secondary line licenses (D&G, Just Cavalli, Exté, Versus/Versace Jeans Couture, GFF Gianfranco Ferré) looked like in the late nineties...

i thought VJC replaced Versus in terms of "more accesible" luxury? i mean, VJC is ridiculously priced already, i doubt they'll make it their "Armani Exchange".

Finally, i think it´s a good time to restarted the brand. The pieces looking great so far. Can´t wait to see the collection next season.
