Doo.Ri S/S 08 NYC

Doo.Ri collaborated with Swarovski this season and embedded their official crystals into many pieces in her primarily silk collection. Unlike her previous season she used jersey in a rather limited fashion. Her satin organza layered skirts were absolutely spectacular.

Color palette: Lilac, Boysenberry, Blackberry, Black

Pictures coming right up... To me this is the most breathtaking collection in NYC thus far.

Love the detail and the Swaroski on the dresses. The silhouettes of the dresses are lovely.

Wow. I am not familiar with this line at all but it looks really wonderful. Beautiful!! Thanks so much for the great pictures. I love the clean simple designs with the extra sparkle of the crystals.

For the majority of these pieces you really needed to see them under the lighting and in movement -- the crystals sparkled immensely and brought so much more to the overall tone of the collection

Elegant and refined.
Great colors, light, fluid and tightly constructed as a whole with very specific seaming running throughout.
I'm sure the missing component is the strass that doesn't translate in pictures this size.

I love how wearable it is! Doo.ri always seems to pull it off... although I have to say that it's nothing innovative, but it is beautiful!
