Doo.Ri S/S 08 NYC

Quite bland, not impressed by the colour palette or desings,to much simplicity for my taste. So faar New York has been quite colourless so faar.

So many brands adorn their clothing with crystals, both fake or real, so at first glance this is really nothing unique or even spectacular. If you leave the jewels behind and focus on the clothes and their shapes, colors and cuts, this ends up being a gorgeous collection. The dresses are, for the most part, surprisingly wearable and versatile; the colors, rich and suitable for all seasons.

This feels like something I'd see in Paris - which is a great thing! I'm so impressed by the neutral colours not coming out boring - this is more classic and inspirational than some of the bright vibrant shows in NYC right now.
This dress is just exquisite

Though a little bland, this collection also seems airy and the gowns are nice.

Fantastic draping, beautiful textures + colors.
I think everything she shows can be kept simple, or kicked up a notch if paired w/more outrageous pieces.
All in all, Doo-Ri never fails to impress.!

I love this look.

Thank goodness Doo.Ri never lets me down.

I would have liked to have seen more of her famous jersey deaping though.

She seems to be regressing slowly but surely. This is dreadfully boring. The crystal pieces are silly. They only ever descend the bedecked garment into a dustbin labeled 'ostentatious crap', tbh. The shapes, the colors, the mood - they're inert, trite and irrelevant.

WOW! a big leap forward for Doo.Ri! The dresses are extremely beautiful and she seemed to make a little more structured looks in addition to the draping. It makes them look sexier and more powerful than thenormal Doo.Ri. signature looks. I'm very impressed!!!
