Dorothy is one of my favorite Old Hollywood stars, she was beautiful, and talented. Her life had it's triumphant moments ( First Black woman Lead Oscar Nomination) and it's tragedies ( mental ******** daughter, fail marriages, slump movie career and drug addiction).

Seductive Dorothy in one of her best musiscal performances(circa 1955)! She was so ravishing that during this even Bing Crosby said with a melt 'she's fine' while introducing her on early national tv.

Well unfortunately she was around at a time when blacks just weren't going to be that successful, sad b/c there was such real talent & beauty back than...but she wasn't alone in that respect. But thank god for the film "Introducing..." b/c she otherwise would've continued to be largely forgotten. BTW,the last screen cap is actually from the '51 film "Tarzan's Peril".

Hmmm, okay I had this nagging suspicion about it,but I guess it is "Sundown"...jokes.
