i have those gold gucci shoes with a green snake, but never wore them... i have the black ones too with a purple snake which i've worn a lot, and they're reaaaally comfortable. i don't see how they could come up with fakes of these...

These Helmut Lang stilettoes... I'm tossing up whether or not to buy them... the ones in Aus have a white sole and the snakeskin is gold... they are so freakin hot!

I just wore (only for the second time) the FW 04 gucci high heel t-strap sandals with the serpent/dragon gold/black/pearl detail this past Saturday night....I had worn them once last November to a wedding and forgot how absolutely comfy they are (considering that it is a 4' or higher heel). I love shoes and bags .

My favorites buys from SS 05 in order:
1)Dolce and Gabbana clear rubber flat open toe sandals with rhinestone detail wore them non-stop, to the beach, and shopping and just about everywhere....and the rhinestones didn't fall off (some clients had complained)
2)The same sandal in a very high heel version in black rubber and also in gold glitter fabric with wood sole and heel
3)Gucci brown patent peep toe high heel sandal with brown croc strap (it also came in black patent leather, and a hot pink velvet if you remember)
4)Gucci high heel ivory pearlescent snakeskin pump (also came in a light green version)
5) Dior high heel tiger print (I guess on calf hair) sandals with C and D logo

I just love the SS 05 shoe line up....such beautiful shoes and sandals...couldn't get enough of them....now with the fall lineup ...I am only slightly lusting after the Gucci high heel (4.5" heel version) boots with the croc detail on top...I just don't know how often I would wear it in Miami this winter....and don't know if it would be comfy enough or worth dragging them to wear it in London and Paris for Christmas holidays?

Hi Amelia...thanks for the compliments....I think also either the black or the black patent....here is the dilemma...if I want the boots...I have to act fast....Saks is taking pre-orders for both now...Neimans is completely out since they only bought the brown version for some reason....and the black patent is only through the Gucci boutiques here in the US...
Another problem is the sizing at Gucci....some shoes are narrower than others...I am typically an 8.5 in Gucci but had to buy the brown patent shoes with croc strap in 9.5 since it "ran so small" according to the sales rep..so what size do I order these boots in? 8.5, 9?
I think I am just going to wait until they are in later in Sept at the Gucci boutique and go in and try them on in black and the black patent and take it from there....sorry for all the babbling !!!

You know? If you have so many problems, I think that you should wait- this is the best idea imo. They won't go away! . But... what about the price?
