I hate these shoes+socks combos.Reference to The Beatles? To 60' beat music?Weeeeird.

The menswear inspired pieces were awful. Look at the fit of the trousers, god.

it's strange that i like from what i see now. usually i really don't like Dsquared

Wow this looks so classy I wouldn't have even guessed it was DSquared.

i love dsquared. its a very classy kind of tacky, like Cavalli

terrible......pffff these clothes are SO CHEAP !!! made in china for sure, this is a joke. the best exemple of high marketable low fashion. there isn't any inspiration, anything new, any research. most of looks can be find at ZARA, H&M or similar stores....

so true! actually the last year season was so great than this season!
omg, nothing special..

meanswear inspired? wth? this is just too much.

It's too damn similar to SS07 collection, and I really don't like this fact...
Some outfits are really good but there's absolutely no depht in this collection...last season leather b*tch was much better

"and to think, they said it wouldn't last," michael jackson once quipped in front of the world. i imagine dean and dan caten must also share sentiments when they put out collections as solid and wonderful as this one. while some of their sportswear offerings sometimes veered a little too closely to the tommy hilfiger prepster idea, the rest of the collection certainly made up for that. these clothes had that now-signature designer spin on the classics that have made dsquared2 the new dolce and gabbana. one leggy outfit tucked in there not only showed their skill as designers, but their reading of the moment perfectly. honestly, i can see blake lively donning this with absolute APLOMB.

again with all those haters in this thread, seriously, to the left with ya'll.

that menswear look in #2 is stunningly sexy. it's obviously menswear inspired, but the fit of the blazer and the blouse underneath hug the body just right, i bet there's great pinning in the back of the blazer. combined with that panama hat and those 70s sunnies, this is hot stuff. i'd stare at the woman walking in that, in total disbelief how well she's embodying the 'menswear for women' look.

i don't see whats wrong with those pants, out of the whole outfit it's the only part where i'd believe that she took it directly from her boyfriend/man and for that, it's fine.

my only objections are to the white socks + black shoe combo. strappy high heels and we'd talk serious business.

people saying the runway stuff from D² is cheap (or cheaply made) clearly have no idea of the brand.

I was surprised to actually like some of last season, and this collection is such a different direction, almost the opposite. This felt a bit reserved for them, I don't think it's as good as last season, but neither is it laughingly bad as I've found many of their past collections. Not so bad at all.
