especially McQueen!! after seeing the menswear collection where he sent down these beautiful "ghostly" geishas at the end, i can't help but imagine him doing a womenswear version of it.. how hot if Du Juan is part of that!!

Another Chinese Model Is Even More Beautiful


On the cover of first issue of China Vogue the most beautiful model was the third one from the left, right of Gemma. Her name is Wang Wengqin and she is a bigger model than Du Juan in Shanghai. Wang is the most beautiful model on that cover bar none.

There is a rumor in the fashion world, that in 2006 the first Asian model will be on the cover of American Vogue. It will likely be Du Juan I hope they didn't wait decades to put an ugly Asian one. I hope Wang Wengqin gets a go at it, because she's drop dead gorgeous!! You can tell she's a natural beauty without makeup, and I believe she is really 5' 11" tall.

Du Juan is NOT 5' 11" or 180cm tall. 180cm is just under 5' 10", you can tell from her pictures she's about 5' 9" at the absolute most.

Anna or Wengqin was pregnant maybe that's the reason why she wasn't able to take advantage of the China Vogue cover, because she was too heavy to model. As a result Du Juan lucked out, but Du is very beautiful herself.

Do you have any pics of Anna that you can post? I'd love to see how beautiful she is, now that is a beautiful woman!!!

Wang is very pretty which fashion industry types don't like, but since Asians in the media have always been shown as flat faced and slitty eyed, why not put an Asian model that's pretty and beautiful for a change. Anna Wang is probably in her mid 20s that is not old by any means.

Damn right model agencies purposely lie about measurements to make the girls more marketable, Kate Moss is 5' 6" but her agency says she's 5' 8". Making the girls 2 inches taller is the norm because giraffe tallness is in.

Wang Wenqin also known as Anna Wang

Anna is supposedly a shanghai based world class supermodel. Yes she is too pretty and that makes her conventional.

American fashion magazines prefer girls like Hye Park with small no eyelid looks because it's blatantly oriental looking. Someone posted that Hye looks like she's scowling all the time, it's because she has no double eyelids and that mousy glare makes her look angry all the time. Unfortunately, this is the look American fashion magazines like to portray, believe me Hye Park will be gone soon. Just remember what happened to Navia Nguyen and Ling Tang, they were everywhere at a moment in time, but after a short while, they were never used again, neither of those two were gorgeous looking, very oriental in looks with flat faces, not classically beautiful.

I dont see Wengqin being successful outside of the asian market, she dosent have the proper look that the big designers look for....

I imagine if anyone gets a American Vogue cover it would be Du, not Hye because Du has more "Vogue" look. I doubt they would do it though, because the only reason last year they put a model on was because Liya was UN ambassador.
